Breeding session of a T-bar couple

In this thread I would like to show a photoseries of the mating of "Big Barnie" and his spouse "Maedchen".

As you know I noticed a growing hill yesterday, and I took a closer look. Man thats interesting, to watch Cichlids having fun, lets you forget you have to do some housekeeping stuff:hmm3grin2orange:

Here is a pic of the lousy temeperd Daddy and Maedchen. She already shows her "genital papilla" and her stomach is quite round. I think tomorrow she will do her color change. Right now she still has her non breeding colors.

Now its getting interesting. I got some exiled Kribs in my big tank. I exiled them cause they caused too many problems in the smaller tank I got.

Now the male is interested a lot in that cute place the T-bars dug out. Also the female Krib is becoming colored....oh hah....

Hahahahaha love is in the air!! or should that be in the water...? Why do the hard work of building your own nesting place if you can have a ready made love hole :hmm3grin2orange:
