what is the most peaceful cichlid? and also this fish has to hold his own because the other 2 in my tank are always chasing eeachother. as for what kind they are i dont know because when i bought them at big als aquarium services it only states that there assorted. i had to take a blue peacock out which im going to trade in today because he was getting stressed from all the chasing. please help asap because i dont know how long this fish will last in the bucket.

Can you describe what they look like, maybe a pic or two, also we would have to know what size tank you have, and if it said assorted they are probably african, not all cichlids go together, so the first thing we need to find out is what kind you already have, some cichlids get very large, so a small tank is not suitable, if you answer just a few questions this would allow us to help you further.

I'd imagine he has africans which need to be crowded to combat aggression..... We really need a description..size, color, id markings or a picture though to help ya out.

my tank is only a 55gal and as for the fish im just trying to match them from a book i have so it might not be the same. one fish i think is a regal peacock,the other one looks like a lupingo labidochromis and the other one is just plain yellow which i dont have in the book. btw i already changed that fish for the lupingo. the fish is huge and stands his ground which is great. there gonna love the 120 gal when its cycled. heres another question. im taking the waste water from my 55 gal and putting it in the 120 gal when i do my water changed because i want the water to be the same as what there used to. is this ok to do.
