View Full Version : Anyone use NSW in their tanks?

A local frag farmer I know recently set up a 300g water storage system, and he is getting natural salt water delivered from this place [Only Registered Users Can See Links.] (this company has a good rep. in southern california).

He is selling the water for $.50 a gallon, so I am thinking about switching my tanks over to his water. I would save $ on the water, plus the drive is about 20 minutes less than my current "watering hole"

I was wondering if anyone had tried using NSW, and if so, what were the results.

I was also wondering about long term storage...Would it be ok to keep it in jugs and then just heat and aerate it a day before water changes?

Thanks in advance for any responses!

As a rule it's not recommended for smaller tanks...too many quality control issues...
