I would really like to get a canister filter for my tank, as my hood isn't the greatest and like to get a new one and not have to modify it to fit 2 penguin 350's. So i was wondering what is 1, just 1, canister filter, that would be the best for a 55 gallon oscar tank?? I only want 1 filter. And i want it to be a canister. I was looking at the magnum 350's, fluval 405(too expensive imo), and one of the rena filters. But im not really sure. I would get a Fluval FX5 but i dont have 300 dollars to dish out. Any ideas?:4:

if you cant get the FX5 a fluval 405 is the best

What exactly do you have in the tank as far as fish....????

Yeah I would probably go fluval 405 then because the Oscars are messy eaters as I am sure you know....

A Rena XP3 would be a good choice as well.
