The fab 5 is now down to 4. One more white cloud is gone. BUT now I am wondering if it more to do with bullys (even though I only have white clouds in there) Seems to be the smallest of them are dieing. I have 2 that are I think to their mature size and then the rest were just so so and 1 was real little and he was to go first. This one that just died was missing a side fin. The other one was intact but the one side was gone...I looked at his other fins and such and they were fine so I don't think Fin rot had anything to do with it but will watch the others at any rate.
I have done about 30% water change and got some of the gunk off the bottom, there wasn't much but enough were I think they may have been getting more than they needed...I am not feeding them until Monday as well Since it is already saturday night they will be fine. I have read about fasting and I think it would do them some good. My husband said he noticed one swimming funny while I was out today so I am thinking it maybe that one that died. soo IDK there is something going on here and i have no clue what??? If white clouds are hardy fish and they are droppin like flies in my tank I would hate to have a delicate fish. It would last 2 seconds in my care. OH and my tank was cycled before I got the fish....and the parameters are fine even still 0 at everything cept Nitrates which are about 5-10 and ph is 7.6 and water temp 70.
UGh this is going to drive me nuts....lol yeah yeah short drive I know. lol
anyone know why fish would do this without signs of anything water wise?

Maybe they brought something home from the shop and it's taken a while to manifest?

I don't know?? It is possible. I lost the first one on 3/11 ( I added them to the tank 3/2) So a little over a week and one dies then the next one a few days later (yesterday) I am going to the LFS today where I got them from and see what they have to say. Also bringing some of my water just in case they can see something I am not!

I'm just thinking...
many fish have diseases and harmful bacteria in them which lie dormant or ineffective for ages until a particular fish becomes very distressed, then the disease/bacteria comes out...
I'm thinking this may be a possible culprit...
