I thought I would bleach my ludwiga yesterday to get rid on the algae on them. The bleach didn't hurt them a bit, thank goodness, but they are no longer red. Bleached the color out of them. They will come back tho but I thought it rather amusing.

That is funny. What kind of algae is on them? If it's BBA you can actually dip them in Hydorgen Peroxide. The H2O2 kills BBA in a hurry. Turns it white and it just falls off. The best part is that it even kills the spores.
