Personally I love the Jagers. They are great reliable heaters. I know of people who are running Jagers that are 20 years old and they are still just as reliable as the day they were made. I can't really suggest a second sine I only buy Jagers. :)

I don't have any Jagers but have heard nothing but rave reviews about them I have been switching to stealths and love em. I also picked up a rena smart heater and have been very impressed with that.

Jaeger by all means IMO are the best most accurate and reliable. Second that I have any experience with is Stealth.

I would put the Stealth first and Jager second. The stealth has a few great points to it:
1. Plastic, so can not be shattered
2. Lifetime warranty

Jagers and stealths... I'd go with a 150-200 watt on a 37 gallon...

Never had the Jager yet but also nothing but good things are said about them. I do have the stealths and love them. I must have replaced heaters 4 times to each tank in less than two years when using all the other types.

One nice thing about sleath is you need not unplug them when doing your water changes and I believe jager has the same feature of auto shut-offs.

Newer models of the Jager have that but unfortunately the older ones do not. They also have the feature that if the glass casing every breakes, there is also an auto-cutoff.

Thank you everyone for your replies. Did I mention it has to be inexpensive....lol. I looked for a jager...didn't find one. The stealth I have found. I will probably pick up a stealth 200w heater.

Bigalsonline.com sells Jagers, and at a good price as well. That's where I got the 200w for my 46gal Discus tank.

ditto with big als

i still have a old 250w heater on my 90g, i would get a stealth or jager but that heater is awesome, the brand is Tron. ive had it for about 5 years, still runs perfect and keeps my 90g a constant 82f
