I'm not sure it goes to any mod. Maybe those taxes fund the lottery...... The lottery starts with 10k points every day. I'm sure the taxes doesn't even get close to covering the lottery. I think the taxes are good. It pulls money back outta the community that the lottery floods in...

It's not like he is charging us to use the forums, or making us pay real money on gifts, its just a tax on fake virtual money.
Maybe it went towards the 2000 William gave every member this Christmas, or maybe towards the lottery like JB said.

Yea, really people. This is play money you know. It's not like you are digging deep into your pockets here. AND, not like any other forum even have these features.

Haha. The reality is that the tax only is a way to make it feel more like real money and make them feel more valuable. Which seems to be working based on this thread ;-)

I am working on a system that will replacing the tax and that will be introduced soon enough.

Shoot William. I so like the idea that the Mods are getting all these great taxes. :)

yeah I figured the mods were taxing all the members. It's like a hierarchy in here

This is ridiculous lmao... The mods aren't taxing anyone lol... Look at the lottery winners previously if you are so worried about how they got their points lol... No mods receive taxes.... They have all won the weekly lottery.. That thing is a good 150k per win... Not to mention the dailies... No the lottery isn't rigged either lol.. I have won plenty of times...

Where is the hierarchy btw.... I guess I missed that...

Thats what I thought, it was a way to teach young members about finances.

Mods don't make any points off of the taxes. William might, but I sure as heck don't, not like I need any with 800,000 points.

Carlos,

I think it's about time you got a grip. Everything here is a software program. How would the mods benefit from that? Don't forget, we also pay those taxes but apparently you are the only one who feels it necessary to cry about it.

mods dont get anything special, they earn a few more points as a token of appreciation for all the work they do and thats it.

1.75% tax is nothing, thats like 18 points on a purchase of a 1000 point item. not a big deal

Just when I thought I had seen it all LOL.

Most of my points came from a member who left, they wanted me to have them as they was quite a lot, and they did not want them wasted, however, the majority of those points, I put back into AC, in the way of donations, and one off comps.

I'd hate to play monopoly with some of you guys LOL.

If they don't tax us, we'll end up with too many points in circulation, the value of the points will go down and the forum will go into a recession... We can't have that can we? :18:
