There are a couple other forums I belong to. I don't go to them nearly as much since I found this site.

I used to go to monsterfishkeepers.com, but I don't anymore. It seems the people there are all about bashing one another. On top of that, the other impression that I got is that they almost all encourage over-stocking.

This is the only one I frequent now. What I can't find out here, I can simply find out from my friend at the lfs.

You guys rock! thumbs2:

I go to fishlore.com occasionally when I need more opinons/suggestions. But AC is my main fish website, because of the stronger community.

I probably "belong" to about a half dozen forums, but 99% of the time I'm here. More traffic, more answers, more experts.

About the only time I go somewhere else is if it's about something the forum specifically deals with. Catfish questions in the catfish forum for example.

But even then, I usually ask here first and if I don't get a satisfactory answer go to the other forums. Happens pretty rarely that I don't get an answer here though. :ezpi_wink1:

The problem is... I follow my boyfriend on this... He's the one who find new forum...
So, I'm on the catfish forum too, and some times on the planted tank...
But most of the time, and one of the first thing I do in the morning : I come here to see what's new with our forum!!!!:19:

plantedtank.net I love their diy project. Many members of that forum are always trying to find cheaper way to have a planted tank, which is great for a college student like me. I love the AC for the strong community.

I just browse the DIYs and project tanks for the most part.

I was a member of Aquariacentral.com for a while, but they are too agressive over there for my likings.

I visit a few sites, fitness and tanning. But the only one i'm on frequently other than AC is a private site, run by an online friend of mine, we have about 7 of us that chat on it every day.

For my plant info I go to:

I primarily come here for my fish info, or I'll use Google. Though I really like this site for fish profiles, because the comments are very useful:

You mean to tell me there are other forums out there?!? Geez, I really am living in the stone age.

No, I don't really go to any other site except here. I think William has made a really nice forum, and I will support that.

If I have questions on my tanks, I will ask here, before anywhere else, as you all have a lot of knowledge, and that is the best thing for any community!

Other than this one, cichlid-forum, Planet Catfish, Petfish, and Aquaria Central for fish, planted tank, aquatic plant central, and plantgeek occaisonally. The only thing this forum lacks is an active buying/selling section. I'm always checking the buy/sell/swap listings, occaisonally a good deal turns up.
