i just want to get one krib to put with my 3 mbunas... its a 30g.. will that work?

nope, mbuna should be kept mbuna only

Your mbunas are too aggresive to mix with kribs. Plus different water conditions.

The mbunas will rip that krib apart.... Far too aggressive of a fish for anything but an african tank...

doh!! oh well.. thanks though.. just for the record, im still lost when it comes to the classifications and species of cichlids and all that stuff so theres a good chance i dont have mbunas.. ive got the yellow lab, yellow auratus and "electric blue cichlid".. let me know! sorry for being such a noob! thanks for your patience

thank you sailor, that helps a lot.. i found the yellow lab in two seconds lol too bad hes a mbuna.. btw how do you pronounce mbuna? is the m silent?

ma-boon-a ..... really it all depends on the language though you say po-tat-o i say pot-tot-o you say to-mate-o I say to-mot-o..... lol

its pronounced um-boo-na, but for the last 10 years ive called them ma-bun-a. its really the um-boo-na but ma-bu-na is still stuck in my head

i used to call cichlids shishlids. lol
