For the past few weeks, I guess you could say ever since february, I have felt the presence of some else with me in my house. Mostly when noone else is around. One night, I felt like someone was sitting next to me, reading my book from behind myshoulder. I feel like I am either being followed or warned by someone, who has left our realm.
Any suggestions to get rid of these things? Could something be going on?
I have been kinda down lately.
When "haunted, I feel hot, sweaty, and itchy. My semi-long hair touching my neck makes me jump.
Each time, it gets only worse. A while ago I just felt "not - alone", while now it is starting to actually get freaky. HELP!!! My family does not understand! My second family might though!

i dunno, i get it too. One time i was in the basement, and the room with the safe in it popped open, and i was the only one there, scared the crap out of me.

another time i was just standing and a pitch black thing was at my right side and it went away

Have you had any one close to you pass away lately. I had the same feelings when I was going through basic training in 1981 when I joined the military. That was just after my grandfather passed away. I felt the presance mostly at night when I was alone. It seemed to pass after I was done basic training. My mom figures it was my grandfather watching over me in this stressfull time of my life.

Usually when I feel like I have someone over my shoulder... I turn around and tell the wife to get off my @$$...... lol

On another note hopefully whatever it is passes Tiger and you are okay... Good luck... We'll be cheering ya on...

my seven year old cat, and my 5 year old bunny. My dog was sick, and could've passed.
I once was reading at night, and my radio flicked on by it'self. People told me the switch was oose, bound to go to one side on it's own soon.
Just a few minutes ago after letting my dog in, I heard a voice. I was all alone. I am shivering as I type this, and the heat is on. Im twitchy too. The voice was like a ghostly whisper kinda like that of one of those hooded guyz in lord of the rings, saying something with "I" in it. Sigh, DIE, (makes me scared<<<) "sky" "I" etc.

Maybe "Hi"?

You shouldn't be scared of it. If it hasn't tried to stab you in the eye yet, chances are its harmless.

Tell him to come visit me. I need something to do.

another weird thing is i will just be sitting and suddenly i see a white blur a few feet ahead of me and it comes at me at 200k/h like a train with lights, and of course instict kicks in and i randomly jump out of the way when really nothings there. the first time it happened i figured i imagined it but its happened a few times.

the same thing happens but sometimes its a bunch of black dots like bats

are you under alot of stress and have anxiety? it could be a mini panic attack...
if you get a bit of a sense of dread. Not trying to dismiss the paranormal possibility... you could be haunted. Just keep an eye on your own mental health too.

The best, best, best thing you can do is DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE IT except to say. "I dont know who you are or why you are here. But you are no longer living and its time for you to move on to where you belong now. There is nothing left here for you and its time for you to be at rest."

Talking to it or egging it on will only make its presense stronger because it will find a connection with you. My sister spent years speaking with a figure she swore was our great grandma... after about 4 years, it started to scare her because the visions were becoming more solid and common, she finally told her that she was dead and that it was time for her to go. And she hasn't seen her since, it has been 6 years or so now, since this all happened.

Another thing you want to remember, if you befriend or acknowledge this one, you will undoubtedly draw others to your attention, and they may be less friendly than your current little friend who likes to listen to music. Be sturn, dont show fear, and just flat out state the facts.

i shouldnt have read this thread lol, im scared now. ive seen more than my share of "ghosts" or super-natural beings. i know they exist, i just try to forget they are there as it scares me and im a big sook. my mums house is often visited by these beings and they seem to collect in my hall way- which just so happens to be the one that my door is on (aarrgghhhh). even though i grew up in this house and feel safe in this house i still hate going to the toilet at night and at the age of nearly 25 im ashamed to say i sleep with a light on (all night, i know its childish but i dont sleep otherwise). they dont want to hurt me- ok unless im pregnant, then they start throwing things at me???? but yeah, i think its a part of life and they will leave when they are ready.
i just really hate it when they call out my name when im home alone lol thats just rude of them to think its funny watching me S@^! myself :hmm3grin2orange:

My mom lives in the oldest house in her town. Someone committed suicide upstairs in my old room. The house has always had a playful ghost who would move things, leave things out, or turn the tv on or off. My brother gave the ghost when we were kids a name, Harry Balls, or Harry for short. But I've never really run into anything other than Harry. Seen enough spooky movies, and ghosts freak me out tho!

You're not alone. I sleep with a small light on too.
