I got my big als order in I just ordered on Monday. I never thought it would come today.. I figured Friday... Wow two days packaging and shipping... Two thumbs up...

I am amazed with this coralife light... It is 2x28 watt 6700k. It was only $47.00 and I love it. I figured it would be great since I may not plant anything in the 55 gallon. I am seriously debating scratching the rams tank and throwing the GT in there with a buddy...

I was thinking of planting some swords in the back but I'm not sure they'd make it on 1 wpg....

Yeah it would break up to background and give my tank a more 3d effect. That 55 just started cycling. It will be 5 more weeks probably... I will add some plants real or fake... Hopefully some real if I can get any to thrive in there.. I doubt it though.

How long is the light fixture. I'm not familiar with a 2x28w. If it is something short you can possibly grow the amazon right under the light fixture.

It is 4 foot long. It runs the entire 55 gallon and is very small and compact width wise... I am thinking silk for the tank...

J try a java fern mat. They don't need the big fancy million dollar lighting systems an they reproduce like crazy and look great.

Java fern mat..... I might try that... I think we are scratching the ram tank and putting the GT in the 55 gallon. I need to get him a tankmate but not sure what. I will have to change around the entire tank though lol.... My wife needs to quit changing her mind lol...

Yeah i ordered my 6 bags of seachem fluorite and a substrate heater from them Sunday. It all came today.:19: UPS Ground shipping too.

It could be that i live 3 hours from Chicago, 3 hours from St. Lewis, and 3 hours from Indianapolis. So most things usually go to one of those 3 places anyway. And if it gets there anytime close to closing they usually have a truck or two heading to my town so things don't take long.

Yeah mine came from Niagra Falls. I'm about 6-7 hours from there.....

I really need to get that GT out of the 55 gallon with the Oscars since my ll is being an idiot.. Maybe a JD with the Gt in the 55 gallon then when I move I can combine both 55 gallons in to a 125....
