My wife is sick to DEATH of the tunes she has in her iPod (all 1.4 GIGS of it!!), and I'm running out of ideas as to what to download for her..
My idea of cool is Paul Simon, so I'm not the best resource for the hip and happening.. LOL
Any suggestions for dance/workout/good beat music greatly appreciated!!!
No rap, grunge, or metal please..
Thanks!!!

Doug, when I get home tonight I will post up some ideas she may like.
My taste goes from IZ all the way up to bands like VnV Nation. So there has to be some thing she may like.

I'm not sure I'm the best person to give "advise" on music...
But still, here's some group I like...But I don't know how to make you hear some exemple... I really suck (?) for those kind of things
- Aerosmith : that's not really young... It's rock, not hard rock nor metal, even if some of their music are sometimes "strong"...
- Collective Soul, Gues who : old too... But good too, and rock too... But smoother...
- Pearl Jam, The Killers: rock (oops seems I like rock)
in another way there's Tracy Chapman, Tori Amos...If she want to relax or yoga or something like that David Sylvian and Craig Armstrong are great...
And for the EMO moment Evanescence and 30 second to Mars...
Ok, that's the best I can do...
I can do worse though (BeeGees, PinkFloyd, Genesis, Queen :luxlove: ...OK, I stop before someone hit me with a radio!)

but [Only Registered Users Can See Links.] has a free Dl of a jukebox that you can listen to music to see what you really like if you want to just buy the album.
I also listen to a lot of underground remixes. I can send you my full list of tunes, but it is like 34 pages long.
ALSO; you can you-tube most of these and listen to some of them that way as well.

Wow! I am like sooo out of the music scene now.
From what I listened to, almost reminded me of techno, but not any techno I know of.
I guess I am too "old" school....

Thanks! Don't think that's her style, but now I know what ska is..
Trying to track down a band she's really into from Ukraine: Okean Elzi (Океан Елзьи)..
[Only Registered Users Can See Links.]
Might have to see if there's anything on Ebay..
I think they're rubbish, but whatever floats your boat...
She hates Sean Paul, Scatman John, Green Day, etc.. but I like them..
Just to give you an example of work-out stuff/good beat easy-listening we both like:
Ace of Base
Flypside (someday)
Rihanna (Pon de Replay)
Stuff like that
