tank mates for Angels

I am assuming that angelfish will eat shrimp, right? I'd love to get some red cherry shrimp, but not if our future inhabitants will devour them...

RCS - safe or not safe with an angel?

Not a good thing to place shrimp in with angels. I had shrimp, I don't anymore. Seems I am not the only one that likes to eat shrimp. My angels made short work of them in no time at all.

They will eat everyone they can catch, that said I have cherries in with a heavily planted tank full of large Angels. I don't see them often and I would be surprised if there are more than a dozen, but if you have enough hiding places some will survive.
As a rule I would advise against it.
