Here's a good article I've found in the case you get stung by a stingray. Even with a trip to the hospital, there is a good chance a local doctor may not know the best procedure to care for it. Last check, I'm pretty sure we didn't find many Rays in Pittsburgh's rivers :thumb: I have this printed out and in a binder that I keep in my Ray tanks drawer.

Great info! Wish Steve Irwin would have had something nearby when his accident occured. That was a major bummer. I really loved the "Croc Hunter"

Not much he could do either way, except leave the barb in untill he got to the hospital, and he pulled it out on reflex.
So sad.

You know, just skimming this, I'm thinking "why would anyone want a pet that could hurt them like that???" and then I think harder, and remember the concussions, broken toe, many many bruises, lost night's of sleep and ETC. that my big and mini horses have caused me and realize I have no room to think critically!!! :22:
