hello to whoever may help me
i know nothing of hydroponic plant care; i read online that plants are good for fish tanks so i bought these bulbs at walmart. i'm pretty sure the plants are aponogeton crispus.
anywho, my plants look like this:

the thick part of the leaves are near the top of the tank, but i want it to look more like this:

as i have seen on most pictures online and stuff, where the leaves are nice and thick from the base all the way to the ends.
can anyone help me out? have i IDed my plants wrong? is there no way to make it look the i want?
