View Full Version : Can any1 tell me what this tetra is called? ID it plz.

They are certainly not black neons , but some kind of tetra. I cannot research on them if i donno what they are called. The male has a blue shine when placed in light and its tail is extended unlike the female.

LoL Jamie, same species. 'Royal Black' is just another gimmick common name, like 'Royal' means they are better or something. Those tetras have been in the hobby 70 years.
