Is a 125g tank for $300 a good price?

If it come with everything, go for it! Even if it is only the tank, it is still a good deal, as long as it is is good condition, no scratches, no leakes, etc.

I payed $280 for my 125 with Stand, lights, heater and filter. Light and filter were both garbage but the heater is still good.

Used? Tank only - wouldn't do it, last fall I bought an All-Glass brand 125G brand new $275 at the LFS. Yes they were having a tank sale. (I will also tell you that particular store will nail you on filters, fish and everything else.) Now if it comes with the stand, filtration, maybe some rocks, then go for it.

I JUST got my 110gallon for $350 with stand, huge driftwood, filter, powerhead, heater, plant(fake).

Like others have said. If it's new then maybe.

If used it would need to come with a lot of other stuff to offset the cost since it seems high for just the tank if used.

Ditto on what everyone has said.

Checkout my 125 I got with the works, I consider this a good deal.
