LOL, now that I have my stocking and everything palnned for my coming 2ft, the countdown is on! At the start of this day I had 80 bucks I owed to my father... at this moment (10.50am) I owe a startling 77 bucks (LOL)

This is gonna be nowhere near as hard as I first thought! I'll be cleaning the kitchen and washing dishes tonight for 2 bucks and I'm positive bfore that I'll have many other odd jobs I can do!!!

This may seem kinda lame to some of the older members, but 1 dollars and 2dollars add up! Wish me luck and you'll be seeing pics of the 2ft pretty darn soon! LOL

You should be proud of yourself for working hard for what you want. Good for you. I'm not knocking the younger generation of today as they are our future. But there are alot of people who just get what they want handed to them. I am glad and happy to see that a good hard work ethic still exists.

Pretty cool. What sucked is that before I had a job, my parents wouldn't give me money for doing chores. So it took me almost a year to get all the equipment for my 20gal.

I think it is great Demi, you are learning the value of the dollar and hard work, more kids should be like you, instead of having everything handed to them.

Hmm am I the only one that wishes she could earn fun money around the house? Think I could convince my husband of that one? I cook and clean and do your stinking laundry for a couple weeks and I can buy a new tank? LOL

LOL Mandy, I try that with my fiance all the time! It's strange, the only time I see my bank card is right before I get paid and it's empty. I get paid, and the next day it's "Honey, can I have the card to pay the bills?" Huh! Always the bills... Strange We pay the same bills twice every month :c2:

Any, keep up the hard work! It's good you're working hard for something you want! I know I give my daughter an allowance for doing chores. She's really excited about having the money, but soon loses interest. Then we go to the store and she wants something, and I always reply "Do you have any money? Oh well..." lol She'll learn (Hopfully not from the example her mother sets lol)

LOL!

My parents + brothers are out now, so I'm gonna clean the house for mum :11:
She loves it when I clean the house for her and she usually pays me for doing it when she hasn't asked :) Even if I don't get any money for it, dads taking me to the LFS today! Yay! I have 6 bucks that I made yesterday to spend on an ornament or sumthing!
