I woke up this morning to notice that my green terror has laid a large patch of eggs along part of my drift wood. The problem is that i have the green terror temporarily in a 10g tank with a red flowerhorn. I was planning on moving these fish out of this tank within a week and since they got along fine i figured it would be allright. Now the green terror has became extremely aggressive and will not leave my flower horn alone. I really like my flower horn plus has a really good personality. I am guessing its best to just kill the eggs since they are not fertilized anyways. Will this cause a lot of stress to the green terror or will she be fine.

thanks

Remove the eggs immediately...... You should never have a GT and a flowerhorn in a 10 gallon.. You shouldn't even have one of those fish in a 10 gallon. They need at least a 55 gallon.... Preferably a 75 for both..... wrlcome to the forum!!!!

Not sure, but i think i read somewhere that after laying eggs the female green terror is done growing. Is this true?

Not at all, fish grow as long as they live.
