I am getting that filter for my 75 gallon. It says it's for 105 gallons, divide that by 2 and you only have 52.5- not even enough for a 55 gallon. But this is a big canister. I thought this filter was for big tanks? I have an aquaclear 110 that I can use in conjunction with the eheim, but I would really rather use only one filter. Can I use the eheim alone?

I think it will be fine by itself. I saw a promotional video about it, I want one!

Good. I got 200 dollars for my b-day a month ago so that is what I decided to spend it on.

It adjusts pump output to compensate for media clogging, programmable for different flow rates, about the only thing it won't do is clean itselfthumbs2:

Myabe if I hook one of the hoses to the sink it will do water changes!
