More colorful logo?

OMG I love that one! Send that pic to william, along with the new logo it'self.
It looks so much more attractive, and nice tha the current one. I do admit, I didn't really know what the original fish was when I first joined. It will definitly make newbies impatient to register, and it will drive more traffic.
Coach, can you do the same for the bottom logo under the copyright information? That would be awesome too!

You could give the current logo fissh a more colorful color using a color tint. You could make him look darker blue or something.

I love the new look. honestly I always wondered about the other one. I though it should be a fish that more people could actually keep in an aquarium. And its the same color as the rest of the background.

It was actually just a rough attempt, I could put just about any fish in there, but I just dropped in the first good picture I could find.

I don't know who is responsible for setting up the logos on the site, or if a vote would be needed to make a change.

If people are interested in a change, perhaps I could make up several different options.

The new one looks great! I admit it is much more attractive than the Grouper. I'm kinda partial to the Grouper though, as I've seen them in the Georgia Aquarium. They float next to the huge glass window, looking at you. Maybe we can add it to the other side?

Here's an idea Cara had while I was showing her this post, and I'm not sure of the logistics involved behind making it happen. Maybe have the picture rotate randomly between the members fishes or something. I know this may be tough with the different pictures. Or maybe let it be a picture of the MOTM's fish... Something like that?

I like yours, but I like the original more. Same color scheme as the site.


And TB, I don't think just having a different fish at the top will drive more people to sign up, in all honesty.

I am on the same page as Drummachine. I like the suggestion but I prefer the old one. It is more discret and don't compete with the rest of the site (ie the main content) as much.
