well im not even sure if their black convicts now that i think about it, the tag said pink convicts which were in there but these did not have a tag.. anyways one has much much darker stripes than the other and the other one has a little yellow spot behind its fins which is hardly noticeable but will their colors eventually stand out more when they get older? hopefully you can tell me if this is a female in this picture..

Females have an orange spot on their side which really colors up when they start spawning. Pink convicts are all white/ light pink so as long as yours have black strips then you have black convicts. How long have you had these fish If you just bought them they might color up some more once you've had them in your tank for a week or so.

this picture might help more, it shows the male a little bit better but its still pretty bad, and yes those pictures were takin right when they were put in.. hopefully they will color up but right now my jack dempsey is bullying both of them... should i remove some one or will they calm down?? i really want the convicts to breed so im considering setting up a seperate tank either for them or the jack dempsey which i could put other jack dempseys in there :19: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii319/mrallergies/IMG_0430.jpg
