my bettas done his first bubblenest and what a nest!!! dont know if you can see in picture but the nest goes all round the pump and down the side and hes still going,its now starting to strech down the tank some more!!!! hes still going thumbs2:

there are now some more updated pictures further in the thread!!

yay! how fun.... those are exciting times! :) What a good little guy! Looks just like my Shredder (the betta) minus the bubbles. hahaha...

Awww he will be getting all horney, poor chap. Hehe. Are you gooing to get a female? have you another tank for her. Suppose breading these little guys is quite specialised.
How old is he?

ive had him for about 2-3 months,thumbs2: i do have 1 female in with him got today and the spare tank is on standby,as for breeding im sure if i get stuck someone will help,:thumb:

Awesome! Very jealous, I have a group of GOLD white cloud mountain minnows ( 4 males and 1 Female :c10: ) The males are constantly dancing and showing off for the female i love it but they never fight just show off who looks best, its my new tv!

hes still bubblenesting lol ,the bubbles are now going further along the tank,its as though he cant stop!!!!! i think i have a very frisky fish :1luvu:

That is too cool! SO I guess that is a sign of a very happy and healthy betta? Im new to Betta's, so I don't have much knowledge / experience with them, but Ive always loved them and now I finally have one. His name is Fred. (short for Fredsworth) LOL! :ezpi_wink1:

congrats on such a great nest. my two boys sporadicly make small nests but nowhere near as big as yours (i kepp telling them they just need more practise lol). good luck with the breeding and keep us updated thumbs2:

this is this mornings bubblenest as you can see in pictures it now is really streching(spelling lol )along the tank ive also managed to get the bubbles around the pump as you can see it goes over the pump completly!!!thumbs2: my female betta seems to have settled in hes not chasing and not interested at the moment!!

OMG that looks like my old beta!!!
I remember when my old beta made his first bubble nest. He worked sooo hard on it 24/7.

Nice is your female ready? It took me a LONG time to get my male to breed. Your soooo lucky. It looks alot like my beta. Again congrats

im new to this but i say ur thread and wanted to ask how long was it b4 he started his nest my male just keeps flaring up and swimming around his side of the tank and my female either hides stares blankly or starts attacking the divider to get the food on his side that he is refusing to eat could something be wrong?
