Well today I took the 30 gallon apart that i got from the lady yesterday. I cleaned the entire thing replaced the carpet. Gave him an extra water bowl, and 2 new hiding places.. I think I will get him a girlfriend soon.
I am in the process of scrubbing out the 55 gallon with vinegar and green pads. There is alot of lime deposits on the tank and filter but it was still way worth the $80 I paid...... I bought a new AC110 today and two 24 inch all glass glass canopies to get the tank ready. I still need the light from big als and a stand for it.... I'll probably go with the wal-mart cheapo stand to save some cash.... The 55 gallon is on hold though until I get my big check from the VA... I need the light and alot of plants so I will wait as it will probably cost me $120.00 at least to plant the 55 gallon... Plus 100 for the light....
