Any of you who know about frogs...

I have one ADF, and he has been in my snail tank for almost 3 weeks. He dosent eat any floating food, in fact i have NEVER seen him eat. He dosent swim at all unless he is going for a bubble of air, he is always on all fours at the bottom of the tank where ever he falls from his latest air grabbing.

I tried to feed him shrimp, and floating frog pellets, and i feed the snails algae wafers...i am going to go get frozen blood worms on my next trip to town, but was thinking that in the mean time i might try tubiflex worms (from walmart) would this be an ok food for him?

Any ideas to get him to eat?

Kup,
Dart frogs eat insects, live ones preferably. Please click this ([Only Registered Users Can See Links.]) site for more information on feeding, and if you wish information how to culture, if you search the forum for my Culture 5, you'll see my instructions on how to culture the flies.

ADF, not PDF. African dwarf frogs are easy to feed. They will take most foods offered. The best food for any fish, and aquatic invertebrates and in this case amphibians, is New Life Spectrum. It is all my axolotls (a fully aquatic salamander) get and they are doing very well on it, the best I have seen.

do you mean the bigger albino clawed ones?

i used to have tons of those, i fed them live insects, they mainly loved live crickets.

ADFs are the dwarf ones. They max out at about one inch in body length.
