today i got up to find one of my gupys has died. she looked totally healthy when I purchased her, but when i took a closer look at her body this morning, her swim bladder turned a yellowish green color? dose anyone know what happend??

Sorry for your loss... Could have been an internal parasite ate through it..... It is really hard to tell though... Again sorry for the loss....

Maybe a bacterial infection??? She probably already ha dit when you bought, and as long as the other fish arent acting weird, then I wouldnt worry about it.

no they arent.. im not too worried about it, i got them from petco, so its expected for something like that to happen..(sadly)

A[Only Registered Users Can See Links.] I'm sorry about your guppy. How long did you have it? Maybe Petco will replace it. Wal Mart gave me my money back for the puffer I got and only lived a day. I wrapped it in plastic wrap and froze it then took it back with the bag it came in and the receipt a couple weeks later. It says on their bag it comes in that they have a 90 day guarentee. The guy at the counter argued with me over it and said they only have I think a 3 day guarentee. I said well it says 90 days right there on the bag & showed him so he called the manager and showed her. I got my money back. Hope you can too.

I just got my oto's from petsmart and they are doing great after 4 days. When I got them I was told they had a 14 day guarantee. I didn't read the bag, though, and now wish I hadn't tossed it...

i got her late in the evening, she was in the tank for about 19 hours, and then she died. im kinda worried because my platys are not acting normal. hte are constantly hiding with there fins tucked in...im kinda worried.

i wonder what it would/could be?

The exact same thing happened with me and Wal Mart. The customer service people made me so mad. They don't even know their own policies. Grr... you, Wal-Mutt.
