Catching African Cichlid Fry?

My African Cichlids are getting a little frisky and as I have not bred them before, how do i go about collecting the eggs or fry? I've seen the egg/fry tumblers on the forum but missed the part about how to get add the necessary!

I don't know if they will breed or not right now... I sit and wait patiently but would like to be ready if the time comes!

I wait until the female is holding the eggs it looks like this. i then catch her and put her in her own 10 gal cycled tank. Leave her in there until she spits the fry and then return her to her original tank 3 or 4 days after that.

Or you can let her stay in the main tank and take your chances how many will survive.
