Best way to get a pair of GBR...

What is the best way to get a pair of GBR from a chain pet store? My LFS rarely gets them... so I will have to go to chain store, most likely. I ask because the employees aren't usually the most educated about any of their fish.

And what could I do to improve the tank setup of my 29g to keep the GBR's happy when I finally get them?

Get 4-8 young individuals and let them pair up as they grow up. Dont buy gbrs from chain stores, because they are usually from asia, where they are bred in weird chemicals that weaken their immune system, so they end up dying in a few weeks.
