Hey everyone.
I decided to join a few aquarium message boards because I just re-started fish tank keeping has a hobby. I am somewhat experienced with planted tanks, as I used to have 4. 1, 29G high, 2, 10G, and 1,5G ( this was more of a hospital tank) The 29G was the big show tank in the living area of my place, and it was a fantastic tank. Had lots of great plants, java moss, christmas tree moss, etc, and about 20 fish in it, just general schooling tropicals. IT ran great for over 4 years. When I had to move, I never set any of them back up and ended up giving them away, since I wasnt going to be in a position to keep/ maintain them. Well its been about 5 years since then, and I decided to start once again, this time small. Im doing a 10G fully planted tank, and its going to be low budget, low tech. I'm going to try things alittle differently this time. I spent quite alot of time a nd money on the 29G, and Id like to keep my costs to a minimum for this restart. IF this one is a success, then I will likely move to a 20G Long, which are my favorite size.
Looks like a great forum here, and I really look forward to learning more, helping when I can, and all the great discussions, advice and articles!
Wish me luck! :ezpi_wink1: :cat:
