Pond Stocking

I have started making a pond and it should be finished this spring. The Dimensions are 5' by 8' by 3' deep. It will be heated in the winter and a waterfall will keep it cool in the summer. I am now planning the stocking for it. I am thinking:
my 2 comets
2-4 koi
some coldwater catfish?


My question is does anyone know of some coldwater catfish.

channel cats would do ok in a cool water pond.You could certainly have more comets and a few more smaller koi such as some butterflys,possiblly 2-3 each.Good luck with the pond Im thinking of expanding mine to just about the same size this spring.

How big do channel cats get.

in a small pond,no idea.In the wild,3ft.There arent alot of cool water cats that stay under 2ft.Possibly a common mudcat you could catch from a creek or maybe a bull head as well.
