is this guy...a big and very dominant Sajica (T-bar male).

Boy that fellow is fotoshy like nothing good. When I am in front of my without cam, no problem, then he really shows off, but if that silvery thing is there, this guy just vanishes from the earth.

Its always a miracle how a 16 cm brute just becomes invisiblethumbs2:

Stunning specimen. You take some of the best pictures, Andrea!

T-Bars are probably some of the most docile bigger CA Cichlids there are unless breeding. There are omnivorous and unless introduced live foods should be docile. Great picture of him......

I wouldnt call them exactly docile. Even when not breeding they can get annoyed pretty quick.

What I found out, they are faithful/loyal to their mates. Both couples stick together at least 18 months or so, unlike Firemouths which change their partners very often.

And its always a spectacle when my two males meet in the center part of my tank, and decide to do a bit of fighting:help: Water is splashing, one hears when those to bulls charge and hit each other, and the final is mouthpulling. Even the females enjoy some mouthpulling here and there.

Yeah if you got two males in there.... They shouldn't be too bad though. My Oscars will float on top when slleping then bump into each other and jump up and hit the hood. I love that fish though... Awesome photo....thumbs2:

Gorgeous fish you've got there. I cant wait until i can get a (don't tell the wife i mean some) bigger tank(s) and can have some larger fish like that. And he's my current background too as of now.
