Not I, said the goose. I had two tanks, a 10 and a 5, when I was six years old. Never had less than three since.

Dave you have more tanks than I have years in my life probably (25)...lol.... I have two plus my brothers two which are basically mine but he paid for (they are his but my stocking lists lol)..... You combat MTS with a disease called emptyus walletus... alot of us on here have it....

I have 1 120g that I'm starting to stock today...and am planning a 100g discus tank once the first tank is stocked...will need to pick up a smaller tank for quarantine/hospital that's it for now until mts really settles in :1luvu:

I never had less than 2 tanks in my house, for as long as I can remember.
My dad always had a small tank, and when I was only 2 or 3 he set up a 5 gallon for me, although I didn't really maintain it much until I was 6 or 7 years old. I now have 10 tanks with water in them, and a couple more in storage. 6 "show" tanks i guess you'd call them, and 4 "miscellaneous" tanks, like my quarentines, fry tank, and refugium/sump. I also have a microworm culture if that counts as anything ;)

No way, I have 8 set up, 2 in storage ( 30g, 100g) how can I have a chance of fighting off MTS when I keep running across great deals?
I'm going today to pick up a 55 w/ stand,lights,filter,air pump for $75! It even comes with fish

There is also significant other that says no, and in rare cases parents that say no (requires that you still live at home).

I started with a 10 for years. Just recently moved up to a 28. The 10 is my empty q tank. My wallet is the biggest thing holding me back. That and I dont plan on living in my apartment my whole life and dread moving out with just one tank.

I only have the one 55g. running....for right now lol. I just started keeping fish this fall but soon got bit by the bug that carries fish fever lol. I'm trying to get a 75g. so I can have it running too. I'd like way bigger but don't have the room. If I can't get a 75g. then I have another 55g. I want to get running. I'd also like to have a 30g. and a couple 20g. tanks eventually.

I only have a 10-gallon... but I just started a tiny fry tank (like one of those little plastic things that kids go out and catch bugs in) for my ONE tiny Platy fry, and I've got 4 preggo Platys in the main tank... so I'm looking into another small tank for fry-raising. I'm getting addicted to this midwifery thing! :1luvu:
