Hey guys, new to the forum...but I read it all the time :p.

Ive had my tank up and running for a few weeks and I currently am housing 8 zebra danios, 5 albino corys, 4 otos and a betta. That was pretty much my startup and clean up crew and they are all doing great. The tank is pretty sweet looking. Its a roman ruins theme with black tahitian moon sand and planted with primarily red and pink flowered bonzai trees. I call it Elyisium!! ha. Anyway I wanted to hear some stocking suggestions. I was thinking of getting some blue rams and neons, also a couple of those drwarf frogs (i find them neat to watch), maybe some shrimp. What do you guys think or envison? Thanks!!!

welcome to AC!!!!!! Do you have a picture of the tank????

If you want gbr and neons run like 60 cardinals and 12 or so gbr in the 72.....
Rummynose would also work.... The cardinals would be great though.......

If you do get frogs, I would be wary about getting corys along with them. I had two african dwarf frogs with three julli corys in my 20 gallon long and it was impossible to keep the corys from eating the frog food. The frogs are scavengers and don't immediately start moving when they smell food in the tank like the corys did, so as soon as I fed the frogs, the corys would eat the food. Even if I tried to feed them on one side of the tank then put the frog food on the other side, the frogs just were not fast enough. I even tried feeding at night, but the corys were right on top of it.

I eventually took them back to the pet store after a few weeks because they were getting skinnier and skinnier; by them surviving for a few weeks they were obviously eating, but it was what ever the corys missed, which wasn't much. I just felt bad for the little guys.

Anyway, that's just my experience with them. Maybe I just had really slow/stupid frogs, just thought I'd share my experience.

Welcome to the forum,A 70 gal is a great size tank to put some angels in.Like was already warned frogs are not a good choice with fish that will outcompete them for food.

Welcome to the forum. You should look into a group of angels in a tank that big. Rams dont get very big and being in a big tank like that You might have a hard time seeing them.

another warning with angels is to only get one pair, if you get more than 2 they will fight

Nicely done, I agree a back ground makes a huge difference. Your scaping and fish will stand out a lot more.

Looking good, now let's get a background of some kind on there to really make everything pop. I would recommend a dark blue or black background.
