my name is Raza im 24 years old living in pakistan and i am new to this hobby and have a lot of questions on and off. I found that most of the questions were already discussed in some threads so im guessing this is a good place to get advice. i have an 80g tank with 10 skirt tetras, 6 angels, 6 albino walking catfish 4" (which i didnt know grow to be huge) 2 blue gouramis, 2 red gouramis, 4 platies and 2 goldfish.

i also have 4 dogs and have had many animals in the past.
rabbits
parrots
ducks
mongoose
cats
chickens
and lots of dogs

Hello and welcome to the forum!. I dont think that you should keep that goldfish with the others. They like cooler water and the warm temps could bring you some problems.

i have read this everywhere that goldfish is a cold water fish but here in pakistan the temperature in the summers goes up to 50 degrees C so the water does end up being warmer than what it says should be for goldfish and still it is the most popular and most kept fish here. on top of that i dont have a second tank just a fish bowl and i dont want to put them in there they look so happy here.

i kept my goldfish in my community tropical tank for a while. they were happy. odds are it may knock some time of their life span. but if they're happy.. what the heck.. right?
