broken bottom

last night a buddy and i drove to pick up a free tank in this little town about 40 miles away. this morning he found the bottom cracked. has anyone ever cut and reglued a peice back on a tank. even as an idea, what about glueing plexy over the broken sheet? just curious.

It would probably be easier to get a new piece of glass for the bottom.

you can place a patch over the area. I use a piece a little smaller than the panel being patched so that I don't have to remove the silicone. plexiglass will work fine
