Hi new to the forum and kidna new to the hobby... i have a 48 gal tank with one large aggressive oscar... heres what i have so far... just moved him from a small 27 gal tank to this one today... come payday i am investing in a large light and top for the tank...

p.s. house is under renos... just finishing up the flooring kinda used that as an excuse to buy ths tank too lol

and any and all comments welcome... i am very interesting in hearing ur inputs

I am sure your oscar is glad you got him out of that 27 gal into something slightly bigger....how big is he by the way?

hey i'm new yo this site to. thats a beautiful oscar you have there. my cousin killed mine. so i started over, with my 55 gallon long tank. i got angels, platies, swordtails, and a gorami. i just noticed that my agels are breeding and im a little worried. as for suggestions, tiger oscars are very picky to set-ups. if they dont like the way that you designed the tank for them, they will change it to suit themselves. maybe put some tall plants in the back. i will let you know if i think of anything else. feel free to contact me back. cyane.

That is a red oscar and all Oscars are picky. I have even heard of some people not being able to keep anything with their oscars...
