Interesting Q on GBR pairs

If a male and a female GBR paired-up, then one of them died like a month later, would the one that still alive eventually pair-up with another GBR? I'm asking because I've read/heard that they form monogamous pairs.

I am on my 4th couple of GBR's - all previous couples died of old age... usually once one went the other followed a few weeks later - the remaining Ram would stop eating at the death of their partner. It's like they die of heartache <bless>

I am not sure if that would be the same in a coupled up young pair... I reckon if young enough and if they had not been partnered for years you mght have a good chance.
