Cheap rays?

I would like to try FW rays but they always seems to be very expensive. Is there any cheap species available?

I want to get my feet wet with something cheaper before buying such an expensive fish. :P

There are rays that are cheaer then most other species but you will still have to expect to pay 100$ each for them.

Are the cheaper rays more difficult to care for, or are they suitable as the first ray?

what size tanks do rays need and what do some ray species look like? are they all plain or do some have coours and patterns?

Rays are sensetive fish and only recommended for advanced fish keepers.
