I like the looks of your tank. Its very simplistic and calming. great job.

Tank looks great...hitch-hiker...not so good.

It is aiptasia, a pest anemone. Either snap off that part of the rock and discard it, or you can use a product called "joes Juice" and kill the thing yourself.

Nice looking tank! What size is it? What's the background?

Your hitchhiker looks like aiptasia to me. If it is, you'll have to dispose of it (the sooner the better). I hear Joe's Juice works pretty good. But, wait for confirmation from someone else before you remove it.

EDIT: coach got in right before me and confirms what I was thinking.

Thanks, the tank is a 20 gallon standard, the background I got from LFS it's hard to describe but kinda of like old rocks. It didnt take me long to get a bad hitchhiker Do I have to bust the piece of rock completely off or just pull the aiptsia off. If I use joe's juice does that mess with the water ? Thanks again for all the help

If you try to physically remove the aiptasia it can break apart and spawn new ones where ever the parts land. Joes Juice won't mess with the water as long as you don't use a lot of it. You select squirt it into the center of the aiptasia, it's mouth, and along the tenticles.
