Angelfish

My mother wishes for me to purchase 6 juvenile angelfish from 3 different shops so that we can raise them and have them hopefully breed, my question is

1) will they breed in a community tank
2) what would they breed on in the tank and what should be suplied for them?
and
3) Will say a veil tail breed with a regular tail, will a black breed with a calico so on and so forth?

1) yes, but they may get aggressive and territorial over the breeding area
2) flat surface such as large slate or clay pot
3) angels are angels, they will interbreed between breeds

if interested in breeding anything get barron's "breeding aquarium fish". if interested in angels also get TFH's "breeding and keeping angelfish". its got a hand drawn picture on the cover and is hard bound, but not too thick, but good info including genetics.
