Set to record on DVR. Thanks for the heads up. I love watching the discovery channel specials. Did anyone catch that one about genetically engineering dinosaurs, like out of Jurassic Park? I missed it.

No worries, the discovery channel reruns shows at different times. It will turn up again sooner or later, at a more convenient time for watching.

that dinosaur one was awesome
Were they actually trying to clone dinosaurs? Did they?
Or was it one of those fictional ones they do that are equally interesting?

sounds cool. I've often contemplated that. what it would look like to see the street I live on crowded with new growth trees that have broken throght the concrete. birds and mammals taking up residence in our previously inhabited homes.

This is just like the book "The World Without Us". You should all pick it up, fascinating read...

it was interesting i suppose...not really as good as i thought it would be.
i did see the one about creating a dinosaur and what they were able to do with the chicken embryo's was incredible. really does point in the direction of dino to bird evolution and that we could feasibly reverse engineer a dino.
