Is it able to be propagated and shaped like Cabomba? That is, can I cut it above a leaf junction and have it grow more bushy and plant the cutting?

I think so but just want to make sure.

Yes ,that is true of many plants,especially stem plants.

You can cut on it all you like, it's very difficult to kill! You can even get a plant from a single leafthumbs2:

Your welcome. Try pulling a leaf off of the wisteria and just let it float, before long you'll have roots and a new plant starting. I have 3-4 that I got that way.
Keep us posted on the progress, I want to see the blyxa when it gets about 4" tall thumbs2:
