Ok so this could be one for the mods. i've got the 'given out too much rep in 24 hours' thing quite a few times now, but then a hour or so later i'll be able to give it again. Can anyone explain this to me:confused:

You use up you points for a period of time and when the new hour comes then the old hour drops off and the new one comes on. If that makes since.

uhh, so if u say gave out rep to 3 people in the last hour then at the next hour you can give out 3 more?

So about 24 hours ago you probably gave some points. In 24 hours you can give out that amount again.

And you can't give reps to the same person too many times, you have to spread it out amoung many people.

lol, it gets annoying when someone gives alot of good advice and you get the dreaded

"you have given out too much rep, try again in 24hrs"

or

"you must spread more rep before giving to ___ again"

hmm i've always wondered, should and can I give out points. I just always thought mods or higher people could do it. I know I would love to give out some points to people who help me a lot

and i am saving all my shop money to buy them
they are so very expensive and it is taken me a long time to get to 10,000 and i have 15,000 to go

them i am off giving out reps

anyone can do it, you give it by clicking that scale on the top right of their post

You can give anyone rep and it is free.... All you do is click the scale on the right side of the persons post and you can add rep.... It is strongly discouraged though to give negative rep....

yeah, never give any bad rep, if theres something bad with someones post contact a mod

I have done that several times. Sad thing is I give out probably 30 reps for my one. People, if you get rep from someone, leave some back.
