I have a deep six coralife and I seem to get different readings everytime I use it my water is pre mixed from LFS , is this thing crap or am I doing something wrong I follow the instructions that came with it but ? Any help would be great , should I have bought a different brand ? Thnks Pez

I have the same 1. At first i found it to be hard to use.
You need to make sure there are NO air bubbles in teh hydrometer.

When i use mine i dont dip it vertically down.

I just hold it underwater horizontally and let water slowly enter. This will eliminate all air bubbles.

After I take the hydrometer out of the water. I give it a little tap then rest it on my counter. Wait 2 seconds and take the reading.
