A saw some videos of trained fish on youtube. So I'm giving it try starting off trying to had fed my gouramis. I would do it with my oscar but he would take my finger cause I have little pellets. Once I get sticks I'm going to try with him.

Good luck with the training. I hand feed my Oscars... Just watch when they clamp... If your fingers in the way they'll draw blood...

Good luck on your training. I have my angels trained to eat out of my fingers and my hand if I lay pellets in my hand they will swim into it to feed. It's really rewarding.

Good luck with that.

My dwarf gourami does eat out of my fingers. But my 2 three spot don't. Seems they are still very shy, even that they have been with me for more than a year now. I guess it's just their personality.

Oscars don't have teeth right? Just a bone plate? Mine has gotten my finger before, and I thought it felt like sandpaper. Maybe I just jerked my hand back fast enough where he didn't get me good lol

It didn't hurt when mine got me, but there was blood.
