ok here we go. 1 week since the spawn. i have a fair few in there, sometimes i can see 5 at once. They hang around the bottom, back wall and mostly behind/in the java moss. I could spend all days watching these guys. Still only a few millimetres long. Feeding them Infusoria and doing 50% w/cs everyday.

I got 4 pics and didnt want to lose detail by resizing so here a link to the gallery. http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/fishpictures/showphoto.php?photo=2567&cat=500&ppuser=10235 Follow the red arrows else you'll be there all day!

Congrats, I just had my cherry barb spawn on me a few days ago. I wasn't planning on breeding them, it just happened. Scared the crap out of me though, I saw some little tiny black things with eyes swimming around, thought it was some foreign invader in my tank, haha. But unfortunately I have a dwarf gourami who likes to snack on baby fish, and the baby barbs are no more. :scry:

Unlucky Jambot, but they've done it once they'll do it again. Consider setting up a small 5g tank to raise some Its so awesome! thumbs2:

Yeah, I'm actually considering it. I never thought I'd like breeding fish so I never gave it a go, but seeing the cute little guys swim around in my tank and the horror of seeing my dwarf gourami chase after and devour any fry he sees has changed my mind. If I ever see anymore tiny fish zooming around in my tank I'll definitely try to separate them into their own tank.

Wow, mine must have been in my tank for a while before I noticed them. They were several times larger and their bodies were black with red heads.

Yes Jambot these guys would take a while to see unless your looking for them!

I keep trying to count them but they move so quickly, i reckon around 15. I think i can see tiny tails on them. thumbs2:

Thanks Squirt!
