I was going buy some flourish tabs today, but I was wondering if there was any other what to get iron into substrate.

doesn't absolutely have to be in the substrate, dose iron in the water column

My dad says I dont need to spend the money on the flourish tabs, I told him a package would last years. So now I have to wait to go to petsmart again.

Flourish tabs are a bit expensive, I thought. You get 10 in a box, is all, for over $5. But you only have to add them every 3 month. 10 tabs don't do a very large tank tho.

Unless you have amazon swords, you really don't need the gravel tabs. Those are the iron hogs.

I have an Amzon Sword, I think starting to slowly die, thats why I'm getting flourish tabs. Also I might be getting tabs tomorrow. :sbiggrin:
