Seriously, beautifully set-up--it looks amazing...and beautiful fish! You must spend hours in front of it just watching it! How long did that take to get set-up? Definitely you've got high TOTM possibility and POTM pictures!

Thank you I dont know why we have TV anymore all we do is watch the tank. We originally had two 30 gl tanks that we recently combined into a 55gl. We have about 65 pounds of live rock most came from Ken at SeaLifeInc. Great guy, great rock. My Clown goby is my favorite :c5:

The Horseshoe only comes out at feeding time, and he does like to rearrange things shoveling around but he is a great sand sifter.

S/w isn't hard, it just requires patience. I hope my parents don't mind me answering for them.

yep, AKA clown goby

Awesome, I love when I can learn a new species from walking around my LFS for half hour. Anyone had really good experience with one? I think I want to get that exact kind because my LFS has some really nice ones in their tanks. I would think they would be pretty good and well tempered since it seem most gobies are and would go nice in my 10 gallon with a stockin of a false percula clown, a cleaner shrimp, snails and some coral.

theyre cool but they hide a fair bit. I see mine once a month and its usually at 3am

Halelorf
02-22-2008, 04:52 AM
hmmm maybe another false percula clownfish instead of the goby? I'm not sure but I think I wouldn't beable squeeze two clowns and the goby into the tank.

2 clowns and a goby would be max in a 10g

A clown goby is diff. than a Yellow Watchman goby.

sandupmynose

Yes a Yellow Watchman Goby is about 3 times bigger than the Yellow Clown Goby. Our Watchamn stays hidden deep in the rocks and stays on the sandbed. My Yellow Clown goby stays high in the tank messing with the polyps and is very active at night. The Clown goby also has a toxic slime on their body to keep other fish from eating them. I will try to post a pic of the Watchman soon he is so camera shy.
