I am looking and researching pleco types that are tolerant to BW environments. Anyone have any info or experience with any?

I just typed in the Google Search, "Brackish water catfish", and about 30 pages popped up.

but plecos have skin and not scales but most cant handle the BW. there are marine catfish, yes, however. I understand that plecos are in the catfish family, and a hardy fish in FW, but are there types that are BW lovers?

An experienced saltwater enthusist at my LFS claimed he tried to acclimate a pleco to brackish conditions. The change was slow and very gradual; over time though the pleco died, obviously. If I see him again, I'll ask for more specifics.

i dont think it is possible, they are hardy fish but not that hardy through personal experience you stress a plec and theres a good chance you will lose it,
